Imperial Bank Eyes Arsenal Fans - kenyadetails

Imperial Bank is targeting to grow its business in Kenya and Uganda with the introduction of Arsenal-branded debit cards.

This follows the signing of a three-year partnership with the English football club that will not only help expand the bank's business in the two

countries but also endear it to its customers.

The financial institution is looking to tap into Arsenal's huge fan base by issuing the co-branded debit cards which comes with an in-built microchip that will provide greater security and convenience to customers. The card's microchip is encrypted to make it difficult for fraudsters to copy or counterfeit hence reducing cases of fraud.

The bank's director Anwar Hajee said the partnership will enable the financial institution to reach out to new market segments while at the same time supporting its commitment to creating meaningful customer experiences.

Imperial Bank will be offering incentives to enhance the uptake of the debit card with cardholders earning and redeeming loyalty points when they use the cards at selected outlets. Other incentives on offer include official Arsenal merchandise and tickets to see the team in action at the Emirates Stadium.
