Firm to Build U.S. $100 Million Wind Power Initiative
Nairobi –  Global infrastructure development giant General Electric Company (GE) last week announced a grand plan of investing some $100 million towards power generation in Kenya over the next one year.
The funding will go towards the construction of two wind power projects to boost generation to the national grid.

KENYA Airways is targeting the under-served markets in Africa to boost its growth through the use of mid range aircraft, it said on Thursday.
Kenya Airways has ordered for several Embraer jets that it said are suited to regional routes with the latest one being delivered on Thursday. The aircraft has a capacity of between 98 to 106 passengers.
